I may have recently developed a seed buying addiction, but I've been addicted to books for most of my life. I have books piling up on the floor, on tables, on top of the fridge; they're everywhere, and threatening to take over all the room in my house.  But I don't really mind that.

I bought several books by Virginia Woolf- A Room of One's Own and Three Guineas, among others. I grabbed everything off the shelf that I could find, and couldn't help but wish there was more. Regardless, I intend to read everything that I have- and then buy more! I wanted to read her books because i feel like she's more interesting than half the men in the Literary Canon, as well as being a great writer.

The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue

I've been wanting to read this book for a long time, and for some reason other books have always gotten in the way. Some of my friends have read it, and it come highly recommended. It features  gay love story,  Paris, and lots of debauchery! Sign me up!

A Celebration of Gardens

This is a wide ranging anthology about gardening and writing about gardening. The author is both a writer and a gardener, and he combines the two subjects in this massive volume. I was at a used book store when I found this, and it was 75 cents. After I recovered from shock, I immediately bought it.

Johannes Cabal- The Detective

I read the first book in the series a couple of months ago (check out that review here) and I've been looking for the others for some time now. I'm very excited to read this one!

A Darker Shade of Magic

My friend has been urging me to read this book for a long time. I also feel like I hear nearly always positive reviews about it from time to time, so I finally caved and bought it. Let's hope she was right!
