ABOUT THE SACRED CHICKENS WEBSITE
Here at Sacred Chickens Farm there are a few things we like. Good books. Stories. Poems. Chickens. Cats. Dogs. Skeletons that forgot to go home after Halloween, and a wide variety of nonsense.
If you're an author (or even an artist or a musician) and you want us to review your work, please let us know. We will be happy to read your book and we will post the reviews here and on Amazon and Goodreads too.
If you love books and you would like to see one reviewed (or submit a review yourself) we take submissions.
We also consider guest blog posts and other original material. You keep all the copyrights!
email us with submissions at [email protected]

Your Site Manager, Julie Carpenter
Julie has a degree in English Literature and a Masters in Professional Writing/Composition Theory.
Like many English majors, she is currently somewhat underemployed (other than her career as an opera mom - which is sort of like being a soccer mom only instead of being a goalie her youngest daughter is a mezzo soprano). She has quite a few original stories on this site. You should definitely read those. She also writes many of the reviews. Read those too. Most of the mistakes you see on these pages have been personally made by Julie, with love. She might even be convinced to correct them if someone brings them to her attention.
Complaints (also ideas, book recommendations, submissions or even the occasional encouraging word) can be sent to her at [email protected]

Your Co Administrators, Jarad Johnson and Uncle Morty
Jarad (he's the one with the glasses in the photo on the left) is also an English major, bless his heart. He attends Middle Tennessee State University. Between bouts of intense reading and practicing being poor, Jarad helps out with the site. He writes most of our popular literature reviews. He also posts a few original stories here.
Uncle Morty (pictured with Jarad) contributes blog posts and a general air of crankiness. He showed up for a Halloween party and never left so we gave him a job.
You can reach Jarad with recommendations at [email protected]
You can reach Uncle Morty through your local medium.
